Slow Cooker Pulled Pork – Crock Pot Pulled Pork. I know there’s quite a few ingredients here, but this the best pulled pork slow cooker recipe ever! You can substitute all the spices with a good BBQ rub to make it easier (I recommend Greedy Pig Pulled Pork Rub). Just try it and you’ll be hooked. It is delicious 🙂

SLOW COOKER PULLED PORK INGREDIENTS (Serves 4)

3 pound pork shoulder joint 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
¼ cup cider vinegar ¼ cup apple juice
2 cups chicken stock ¼ cup soft brown sugar
1 tablespoon yellow mustard 1 tablespoon Worcester Sauce
1 tablespoon Bourbon (optional) 1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon smoked paprika 1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano ½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 cup BBQ sauce
½ teaspoon smoked hickory powder or liquid smoke (optional)
2 onions – finely sliced 2 garlic cloves – finely sliced

Step #1
Add oil to a hot pan. Brown the pork on all sides. Remove from the pan & rest on a plate.

Step #2
Pour excess oil from pan (DO NOT wipe clean). Add remaining ingredients (EXCEPT onions & garlic) & mix well. Gently bring to the boil & simmer for 5 mins.

Step #3
Set slow cooker to LOW. Add onions & garlic. Place pork on top. Pour on sauce & cook for 8 hours.

Step #4
Shred pork using two forks & serve.
